2017 JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK NIGHT SKY FESTIVAL

  • Sky's The Limit Observatory (map)

Joshua Tree will together astronomers, scientists, night-sky enthusiasts, artists, junior rangers, and members of nearby communities to celebrate the night skies of Joshua Tree National Park.

For the third and final year, JT Lab Lead Artist Rebecca Lowry will be running the project STARCOUNT as a part of the festival. Come and see how sky brightness affects the visibility of our stars at Sky's the Limit Observatory, Jumbo Rocks Campground, and Key's View.

This event is free of charge. Park entrance fees apply.
